'What is Konpeito?'

Konpeito is a colorful candy, similar to rock sugar. It was introduced by Portuguese travellers in the 16th century and quickly became a staple of Japanese culture. It is still made by hand in Japan and can take up to 2 weeks per batch! It's very cute, traditional and something we grew up with, so we are happy to bring these small bags of joy to our shop.
